Pest Prevention Contracts

Many premises, ranging from domestic houses to large warehouses, opt for a regular service contract with a pest control firm to ensure that the possibility of an infestation is kept to a minimum, or better still, doesn’t arise.

Rodents

RodentThe most common contract required is for rodents, which consists of a regular number of visits per annum. On each of these visits, the service technician will inspect a network of strategically and discreetly placed boxes that contain poison bait, for signs of rodent activity and replace bait to ensure it remains fresh. The tamper resistant boxes are of plastic construction to keep the bait fresh and dry.

All Contract Visits

While carrying out the contract visit, the technician can also advise on other pest problems and suggest possible solutions to them. When the visit is complete a report sheet is filled out advising the customer of the work that has been carried out and the quantity and type of pesticide used. It may also advise on measures that could be carried out to help prevent the ingression of pests. This report is placed in a file that is kept on the premises containing all details relevant to that contract.

A service contract can cover whichever pest species is causing concern and the visit frequency can be tailored to each individual site or pest life cycle. Holders of a contract also have the benefit of being entitled to a free call out should the specified pest be seen between visits. A contract file is also provided containing all Health and Safety data sheets and a treatment report sheet, completed by our technician, is left in this file following each visit. A bait plan of customers’ premises is generated on commencement of the contract and maintained throughout, detailing the location of all boxes. A copy of this is carried by each of our technicians when a visit is due, and used to ensure that no area is overlooked.
